Ep. 122: The Looming CBA Battle in Major League Baseball, with the Executive Director of the MLBPA, Bruce Meyer
On this episode, I'm joined by the executive director of the Major League Baseball Players Association, Bruce Meyer, for an inside look at the labor battle between the players and the owners. With the collective bargaining agreement expiring in December, owners are pushing for a salary cap, players are pushing back, and another lockout is looming. We'll discuss the competing economic proposals, competitive balance, player solidarity, and whether a lockout could jeopardize the 2027 season.
